Dave Oger attended Alfred University and worked as a salesman for Peter Cooper Corporation.  After Peter Cooper closed, he became an international expert in commercial glue sales, importing products for major US corporations.  His office was in Chicago.

Dave died about 1995 (or so) of a heart attack that he suffered while reading the paper at his winter residence in Florida.

Oge was a special friend to Gayle and I and managed to visit us in just about all the places we lived. He always kept me well informed about Gowanda. He was also special to our children. Our oldest daughter Jill was playing on a soccer team against a team from New Jersey and Jane McClung Terlouw had a friend whose daughter played on Jill's team. When Jane found out Jill was my daughter she asked if Jill knew David Oger. Jill said "you mean Uncle Oge?"

We had some great times riding around in that old bomb of his in our senior year. Lotsa trips to Valentines.

He is missed.

Where David went, fun followed.  The crazy things we did, the laughter we shared.  He kept in touch with all of his friends.  Most of all when I think of our class, I remember David.  He is missed.
