My mom, Peggy, loved her classmates at Gowanda and dearly missed her friends when she moved to Texas.  We, her children, were honored to meet several of you over the years as she returned for a few of the class reunions.

Thanks for all the funny stories she shared with us about her high school days, so many of you stayed close to her heart through the years.

With Love,

Miranda (Peggy's baby)

Peggy was one of my very best friends all the way through school. I missed her a lot when she moved to Texas. She often called, wrote and came back for visits. Peggy was such a wonderful person. She was always so much fun to be around. She acted happy even if the world was getting her down. I would call to make her feel better and she would be the one to make me feel better. She was wise beyond her years. Her children must have found that a wonderful blessing. Peggy was a true friend. She always found the best in me and stuck up for me no matter what. I never, ever knew her to say anything against me. What more could you ever want in a friend? I'm grateful she called me the night she died, I hated that she had to leave us, but I'm grateful for all the years I had her as my special friend. I will miss her for as long as I live.
